BI Analyst

OFS is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a BI Analyst position.  The individual will be responsible for understanding business performance metrics and generating reports and other visuals to help better drive business decisions.  This person will work with sales, marketing, operations, and other areas of the business to provide quality, accurate, and effective solutions to show data in meaningful ways.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with stakeholders to understand key business drivers
• Ensuring accuracy of reporting
• Understanding and progressing OFS data models
• Responding to requests for specific reporting needs
• Teaching business users to be self sufficient with existing BI tools
• Identifying new data elements that need to be added to our data warehouse to enhance reporting
• Exploring existing data models to identify new insights

Skills and Qualifications (Required)

• Experience with a BI platform (preferably Power BI)
• Generate reports that are visually appealing and easy to understand
• Translate business needs into technical reporting requirements
• Bachelor or associate degree in accounting, mathematics, engineering, computer science or other quantitative field of study
• Self-Motivated, goal oriented, and eagerness to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Work closely with users and cross functional teams
• Generate technical specifications for data warehouse changes

• Power BI
• SQL queries
• Git, GitLab
• Have worked with sales/marketing teams
• Agile Scrum team
