OFS’ Imagine a Place Productions Launches “The Resilience Lab” Podcast with Rex Miller

New podcast hosted by author and thought leader explores work, wellbeing, and beyond through storytelling.

Following the launch of the Imagine a Place Productions podcast network, OFS has announced a new podcast, The Resilience Lab, focused on wellbeing in the workplace, professional development, and culture. Hosted by prominent workplace health author and thought leader Rex Miller, the podcast will explore how to be more resilient, focused, and healthy in the workplace while featuring industry experts and leaders.

The pandemic exposed our individual and collective vulnerabilities. For businesses to survive and hopefully thrive going forward, resilience must become a core competency. People are looking to the design industry for guidance on how to be resilient as their workspaces and offices continue to shift. Together, with Imagine a Place Productions as a resource, I believe we will help develop the capacity to not only bounce back from adversity but to bounce back stronger.

As a professor at Texas A&M University and author of several books, Miller is an expert in healthy work environments. In addition to a monthly podcast, The Resilience Lab will also include a blog by Miller that dives deep on key topics such as self-development, workplace culture, leadership, and more.

"Rex and The Resilience Lab are the perfect addition to the Imagine a Place Productions network, and are well-aligned to OFS’ overarching focus on wellness and improving the human experience,” said Doug Shapiro, vice president of research and insights at OFS and host of Imagine a Place. “We’re very excited to continue bringing together industry-leading voices to energize and inspire our listeners."

The Resilience Lab, in addition to fellow Imagine a Place Production podcasts Break Some Dishes and the original Imagine a Place, are all currently available to listeners on Apple Podcasts, Audible, Google, and Spotify. The first episode, featuring the president and CEO of the International WELL Building Institute, Rachel Hodgon, aired today. Additional podcasts will be released in the coming months as the network continues to expand.
