OFS introduces Adler: A private office inspired by real-world conversations

by Monica Watkins

May 7, 2025, Huntingburg, IN — Inspired by real-world conversations with designers, dealers, and end users, OFS debuts Adler, a new casegoods series that blends thoughtful functionality, timeless design, and the freedom to plan around individual needs—delivering design with value.

“What we hear most is the desire for spaces that feel considered, where every detail has a purpose and every choice supports the way they work,” said Molly Prior, SVP of Customer Experience at OFS. “With Adler, we set out to create something that feels familiar yet elevated, customizable yet intuitive. It’s a reflection of the people we serve and the conversations that continue to shape our approach.”

Industry feedback brought to life in form

Developed in response to feedback from conversations across the design community, Adler was developed to offer a highly customizable foundation for private office planning. Rather than a one-size-fits-all solution, Adler allows designers and end users to tailor every element, from storage and workspace configurations to design details like powder-coated trim and rounded corners, to reflect personal style, functional needs, and the intent of the space.

Purposeful design elements at the core of Adler

At the center of the collection is its signature cantilever desk, a defining element that appears to float above the floor. This architectural detail not only elevates the aesthetic but also offers additional knee space and an approachable sit-side experience for collaboration.

Building on that foundation, Adler incorporates a range of features designed to support both the visual and functional needs of today’s private office. Rounded corners, powder-coated trim, and back-painted glass bring softness and refinement to the workspace, while dimmable task lighting, intuitive wire management, and integrated storage components allow for visual cohesion and personalized planning. The rotating bench adds a collaborative element that encourages spontaneous interaction while reinforcing Adler’s streamlined aesthetic.

“Adler is the result of listening—really listening—to what people need from private office furniture,” said Andrea Ecret, Sr. Director of Brand and Product Marketing at OFS. “It’s purposeful, refined, and thoughtfully designed—backed by the craftsmanship and lead times our customers count on.”

At its core, Adler is about thoughtful choices—offering a range of configurations, materials, and functional details that make it easier to plan a private office around both individual style and day-to-day needs.
