A self-care routine for the new year
As we step into not only a new year but a new decade, we all have the opportunity to reflect and create new habits and goals for the future.
There are many things that we can focus on, but here at OFS, we have decided to prioritize gratitude and wellbeing. We chose these two things in particular because wellbeing helps us function at our best—even seemingly small things like drinking enough water and sleeping 8 hours can mean the difference between clarity and mental fog, productivity and lack of focus. We chose gratitude because scientific studies show that people who regularly practice gratitude have better heart health, less inflammation, and better sleep. By regularly practicing thankfulness, we also choose to invest in our mental and physical health and even encourage the people around us.
We want to support each of you as you step into this next decade, too. To do this, we created a self-care checklist that will help you keep up with your physical and mental wellbeing and practice gratitude for yourself.
