IT Internship

OFS is seeking a qualified candidate for a Summer Internship within our Information Technology (IT) department.  

This internship is designed to provide hands-on, real-world experience for individuals pursuing a career in information technology, with a focus on web and application development.

Responsibilities

• Support the web development team in building and maintaining web applications and internal tools
• Assist with implementing small features, enhancements, and bug fixes under guidance from senior developers
• Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and code reviews as a learning opportunity
• Help test and validate features to ensure quality and functionality
• Learn and apply best practices for writing clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with designers and developers to improve user experience
• Document work and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Take part in learning activities to build technical and professional skills

Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Exposure to any web framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.) is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Git or version control concepts is helpful
• Strong willingness to learn and take feedback
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
