CHICAGO, IL — During this year’s Chicago Design Week, OFS is embracing the citywide celebration of creativity, community, and design through its credo, “Imagine a Place.”
More than a tagline, “Imagine a Place” serves as both an invitation and a promise. It invites designers, clients, and communities to envision what’s possible when design centers on human experience, and it reflects OFS’s commitment to helping bring those visions to life through thoughtful products, immersive environments, and meaningful partnerships.
This year, OFS extends that message beyond the showroom walls through a multi-location experience spanning Fulton Market, THE MART, and a public-facing art installation celebrating Chicago’s creative community.
At the heart of this year’s experience is a partnership with acclaimed Chicago artist Liz Flores, whose work appears throughout the OFS Fulton Market showroom as an expression of identity, culture, and place-making. In addition to the showroom installation, OFS will also host a dedicated gallery experience featuring Flores’ commissioned works, open Sunday through Wednesday during Chicago Design Week and continuing throughout the summer in Chicago.
The collaboration reflects OFS’s broader commitment to supporting local artistry while exploring how art and design together shape emotional connection within built environments.
The OFS showroom in Fulton Market invites visitors into a series of immersive spaces designed around the evolving needs of today’s workplace and social environments. From outdoor moments of respite to collaborative open-plan settings and flexible architectural applications, the showroom showcases how design can support the whole person.
Throughout the space, OFS will debut and preview several new product introductions and enhancements across the OFS, ROOM, and Carolina brands.
Kaleid debuts as a new workplace platform
Leading this year’s introductions is Kaleid, a new workstation system designed in partnership with Studio Webb. More than a workstation platform, Kaleid is designed as a catalyst for culture and choice, creating intentional moments where people connect and do their best work.
Its name draws inspiration from the idea that where people collide, culture grows.
Kaleid combines architectural flexibility with refined materiality, offering adaptable configurations that support evolving workstyles. The collection includes integrated power distribution, customizable privacy elements, modular infill kits, shelving, storage, and flexible worksurface options designed to support both focused work and collaboration.
Available in both TFL and veneer finishes, Kaleid reflects OFS’s continued commitment to craftsmanship, material warmth, and thoughtful functionality.
New enhancements across the OFS portfolio
OFS will also showcase new enhancements designed to support greater flexibility, ergonomics, and specification ease.
Adler height-adjustable enhancements expand the laminate offering with new height-adjustable runoffs, desks, bridges, returns, and extended wall panels, helping designers more seamlessly integrate ergonomic functionality into private office environments.
Within the open plan, OFS is previewing updated Staks electrical enhancements, featuring concealed power integration, improved cable organization, PET infeed covers, and expanded specification options designed specifically for height-adjustable applications. These updates were directly inspired by customer feedback and reflect OFS’s continued investment in balancing aesthetics with performance.
OFS will also introduce the Noho Move Chair, a seating solution designed for effortless comfort and intuitive movement. Designed without manual adjustments, Noho Move naturally responds to the user throughout the day through an open-weave auxetic shell that flexes and adapts across a variety of postures while incorporating reclaimed and recycled materials as part of OFS’s ongoing sustainability commitment.
ROOM will preview new customizations and CET configurability for The Room Collection, with features such as multiple glass walls, monitor mounting, and door locations, launching later this summer. ROOM products will also be on display in the NeoCon exhibition, NeoCon Collab: Half Light, taking place on Floor 7 at THE MART during Chicago Design Week.
Across the Carolina portfolio, visitors will also experience hospitality-inspired healthcare solutions, including the ROOM x Carolina Healthcare Phone Booth, Bokeh Patient Lounge Collection designed in partnership with Studio Webb, and In The Fold, a versatile guest seating and storage solution. Each was thoughtfully designed to support the changing needs of patients, families, and caregivers while creating spaces that feel more welcoming, adaptable, and human-centered.
A broader celebration of Chicago design
By extending its presence across Fulton Market, THE MART, and Chicago’s broader creative community, OFS is embracing Chicago Design Week not simply as a showroom event, but as a citywide celebration of imagination, artistry, and human-centered design. Design Days 2026 promises an inspiring showcase of how the OFS family of brands, product portfolios, and people are dedicated to bringing incredible spaces to life.
Attendees are invited to experience “Imagine a Place” at the OFS showroom at 1115 W Fulton Market, explore the NeoCon Collab: Half Light activation on Floor 7 at THE MART and visit the Liz Flores gallery installation open throughout the summer in Chicago. Visitors can discover the latest introductions from OFS, Carolina, and ROOM while experiencing firsthand how these brands are helping shape the future of spaces.
